STAGES OF STYLISH DEVELOPMENT OF THE ARCHITECTURE OF ELIZABETHGRAD AT THE SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH – BEGINNING OF THE 20TH CENTURY

The article is devoted to the architecture of Yelysavetgrad at second half 19th century and beginning 20th century, that forms a large part historical center city contains information about development medium-sized cities in southern Ukraine. presentes classification stylistic features stages Yelisavetgrad period under study. On basis field surveys, studses literary archival sources, patterns development, depending on preferences time functional purpose buildings were revealed.
 In studied period, four are distinguished: two eclecticism modernism. first stage characterized by close connection with classical heritage previous influence romanticism. It was called retrospective, because prototypes used creative search for new forms. At stage, eclectic combinations decor developing.
 third most innovative. international trends modernism (decorative rational) combination directions eclecticism. A modern ancient observed architecture. final neoclassicism more pronounced complete than periods. analyzes connections between each their genesis during period.
 Stages differ quality changes research objects. results study represent objects according construction, direction typology. This work can be further studies architectural planning centuries.
